American singer-songwriter, Steve Wonder recently became a Ghanaian after taking the Oath of Allegiance and receiving his Certificate of Citizenship
“I, Stevland Morris, swear solemnly, sincerely, and truly declare and affirm that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to the Republic of Ghana.
“And I will preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the Republic of Ghana. So help me God, he repeated from the judge presiding over the ceremony.
The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo presented Steve Wonder with Certificate of Citizenship and Ghanaian passport, congratulated the legend and welcome him to Ghana.
