Calling All Diaspora Patriots: Join LPPMC in Rebuilding the Nigeria We Deserve

By Dr. Michael Omoruyi | Director, Diaspora Affairs, Liberal Progressive & Patriotic Members Congress (LPPMC) | May 22, 2025
Across continents and time zones, millions of Nigerians in the diaspora continue to uplift our nation’s image through hard work, innovation, and resilience. From medicine to technology, academia to entrepreneurship, we are proving daily that Nigerians can thrive and lead on the global stage. Yet, even as we flourish abroad, our hearts remain tethered to a homeland yearning for justice, reform, and visionary leadership.
This is a direct call to action — to every Nigerian in the diaspora — to rise and be counted. The time has come for us to go beyond remittances and hometown projects. It is time we channel our collective voice, knowledge, and resources into political renewal. The Liberal Progressive & Patriotic Members Congress (LPPMC) is offering a credible, transparent, and accountable platform to do just that.
Why LPPMC?
LPPMC is not another recycled political structure. We are a people-powered movement grounded in principles of good governance, equity, and pragmatic leadership. Our mission is to break the chains of corruption, impunity, and generational exploitation that have stifled Nigeria’s potential. We are not asking for blind loyalty—we are offering partnership in nation-building.
Diaspora Nigerians are already playing transformative roles in nations across the globe. So why not in Nigeria? Why shouldn’t the Nigerian doctor in Houston, the software engineer in Berlin, the lecturer in Cape Town, or the creative designer in Toronto bring their global exposure home to inspire change?
Diaspora Power is Political Power
The Nigerian diaspora is one of the most educated and economically powerful migrant communities in the world. According to World Bank reports, over $20 billion was remitted by Nigerians abroad in 2023 alone. This economic muscle must now translate into political influence.
LPPMC is creating platforms for diaspora chapters worldwide — forums for political engagement, policy dialogue, leadership grooming, and voter mobilization. We are preparing for 2027, not just with slogans, but with structures. And we want you at the table.

The Road Ahead
Our nation is at a crossroads. Either we continue recycling failed systems, or we forge a new path—bold, principled, and people-driven. Nigeria doesn’t need saviors. It needs committed Nigerians ready to serve. LPPMC offers the infrastructure, the vision, and the integrity to make this movement real.
If we truly believe Nigeria can be better, then let us be the ones to make it so. The change we crave will not come from outside the system unless we boldly enter and reform it from within. Let us write this new chapter together.
