Every generation needs stories that remind us of the power of resilience, the strength of roots, and the courage to reinvent ourselves when life seems determined to hold us back. My forthcoming book, From Grit to Grace: A Memoir of Roots, Resilience, and Reinvention, is my humble attempt to tell such a story.

This memoir is not just about me. It is about us—about every African child who has stared at impossibility and found a way forward, about every immigrant who has juggled dreams with survival, about every professional who has failed, doubted, risen, and kept going. It is a story rooted in my village upbringing, tempered in the crucible of migration, shaped by my career in technology and education, and reborn in my passion for giving Africa a stronger global voice.

The book charts my path from hardship to hope, from being underestimated to becoming an educator, mentor, technologist, and founder of iNewsAfrica. But more than personal achievement, it is a call to action: that no matter how humble your beginnings, reinvention is always possible.

Why Now?

We live in an era where Africans at home and abroad face both unprecedented opportunities and profound challenges. Digital transformation, diaspora engagement, and youth innovation hold immense promise. Yet governance failures, inequality, and disconnection from our cultural roots threaten our progress. This book situates one life story within that wider struggle, showing how grit can become grace when we hold fast to our values and reinvent ourselves for impact.

The Trailer

To give you a glimpse of what lies ahead, I invite you to watch the official book trailer.

It captures the spirit of the memoir—the pain, the persistence, the triumphs, and the lessons that I hope will inspire readers across generations.

Coming Soon

From Grit to Grace will be available soon on Amazon and other major bookstores worldwide. This is more than a book launch; it is the beginning of a wider movement to encourage Africans and the global diaspora to reclaim their stories and shape their futures.

I ask you, my readers, supporters, and fellow Africans, to join me on this journey. Let’s celebrate our roots, build resilience, and dare to reinvent our lives and communities.

Together, from grit, we can all find grace.
